Thank you Shannon for your article on 'The Meanest Mom in the World'. I was almost going to argue with you before I read your story and tell you I had the meanest Mom -- not you! Then I poured over your article, and was so moved by it, because there I was remembering all the things my mother did to me as I was growing up (or as should I say 'for me'). Yeh, she was different, that's for sure, I so envied all my girlfriends that could do almost anything and get away with it. Shannon, thanks for helping me see the 'light'. Our mothers punished us, but they cared, they loved us, and in the end, we are what they helped us to be!
