New on Sports Illustrated: Damien Harris Emerging as Fantasy Sleeper in Patriots Backfield

The second year running back has looked great in training camp and is quickly climbing up fantasy football draft boards.

The Patriots backfield is a bit crowder as we head into Week 1. But with Sony Michel and recently acquired Lamar Miller starting Training Camp on the PUP List, second-year running back Damien Harris took advantage of the opportunity to impress coaches. With James White locked in as New England’s passing-down back, the Patriots are still figuring out who will be their primary ball carrier. Harris hasn’t necessarily ran away with that job according to the editor of

PatriotMaven Devon Clements, but could see extra attention in the first month of the season given the fact both Miller and Michel just returned to action. Sports Illustrated’s fantasy football analyst Michal Fabiano talked with Clements about Harris’ role to start the 2020 season.
